Father Willian Patrick Wolfe Pastor, Saint Ambrose Parish The Reverend William Patrick Wolfe assumed the position of Pastor for St. Ambrose Parish in 1999. Father Wolfe had previously served as St. Ambrose Parish Administrator and was Associate Pastor of St. Paul of the Cross Parish in La Mirada, California – a position he held since 1994. Father Wolfe was born January 21, 1944 in Los Angeles, California. He went to Transfiguration and St. Bernadette elementary school. After graduation from Loyola High School he entered St. John's Seminary in Camarillo, California. Father Wolfe was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in May l970. His first assignment was at St. James Parish in Redondo Beach. In April l973 he was assigned to the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles where he remained until l994. During the Tribunal years he served in residence in many parishes. Father Wolfe acquired the Canonical degree of J.C.L. after studies at Catholic University of America in l978. He was a Judge and Associate Judicial Vicar of the Tribunal.
