Liturgy Committee - a group of men and women who are committed to improving their own knowledge of the liturgy and of the sacramental life of the Church, in order to better understand their integral place in the life of the Christian community. With the pastor this committee is responsible for preparing all liturgical ministers, and planning and preparing all facets of the Eucharistic and sacramental rituals so that the entire assembly is involved in celebrating the worship and sacramental life of the community in adherence to the mandates of Vatican II and the various liturgical documents.
Contact: Ella Mae Lorack, Director

Music Ministry - a group of singers and musicians who enhance the liturgy through song and instrumental music. They assist the assembly in singing the various sung parts of the liturgy. The traditional choir enhances the Sunday 10 AM Mass. Meets on Thursday, 7:30pm.

Bible Study - Often, Catholics are accused of being ignorant of the Scriptures. Each Monday evening, a small group meets for Bible reading and discussion on the Scriptures. This class is one way of getting to know the Scriptures more thoroughly and of understanding them better. Of course, you are encouraged to read the Scriptures on your own at home in preparation for the following Sunday?s readings. But, to have a better understanding of what you have read, a facilitated group discussion may be just what you have been looking for.

Respect Life - The Respect Life ministry is first and foremost an educational vehicle. Various topics that have been reviewed include: Abortion, the Death Penalty, Euthanasia, Doctor Assisted Suicide, Child and Elder Abuse, and various quality of life issues. The ministry maintains a pamphlet rack of informational leaflets in the vestibule of the church. Parishioners are invited to stop by and browse. Meets on 1st and 3rd Sundays.

Parish Nurse - The Parish Nurse Association is a group of health professionals who are or who have been in all levels of health care. A parish nurse is the visible symbol of the parish community's healing and health ministry. The parish nurse combines knowledge of the body with Christian motivation to help people toward better health. The Association needs volunteers who are physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, dieticians, physical and occupational therapists, and health enthusiasts to work together in identifying and ministering to the aged and ill members of our parish community. Available on Sundays from 9:00am to 1:30pm.

Legion of Mary - The Legion of Mary visits prisons and jails, teaches religion, goes into rest homes and convalescent hospitals to provide love and encouragement, to juvenile detention facilities to speak to teenagers, to psychiatric wards, and to homes in the parish to foster a loyalty to Jesus Christ through home enthronement programs. The Legion sends qualified members to speak to girls outside abortion clinics to offer love and information on medical and other assistance. They also make special calls to Catholics with special needs. Members recite the Magnificat daily, and do at least two hours of Legion work each week. Meets on Wednesday at 8:00pm.
